Hi, I’m Rohan
Born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, I’ve been influenced and inspired by the diverse cultures and contrasting landscapes surrounding the Bay Area.
I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Packaging Systems and Design. I currently work for Packaging Corporation of America in Harrisonburg, Virginia, #PCAProud.
I started photography by accident.
Way back in 2013, my uncle decided to pass along the family vacation photography duties to me because his second toddler was now mobile and as mischievous as ever. Over the course of a week, I began to experiment with shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. At the end of the trip, my grandfather decided to gift me his camera in an attempt to foster my interest further. Somehow he convinced my parents that a thousand dollar camera would be better off in the hands of a 14 year old than gathering dust in his closet.
Shocked, yet grateful, I dove into photography headfirst. I didn’t know it then, but it would be more than just a generous gift.
It was an invitation to see the world differently.
To date, I’ve taken thousands of images and travelled to breathtaking locations around the world. All to fulfill the purpose of merely sharing my perspective.
What started as simply preserving moments on vacation, has blossomed into a full-blown passion.
My “happy place” is anywhere I can squint my left eye, peer out at the world, and create perpetual memories.
He saw the spark in my eye before I did.
